MEET DAVE
Dave has been interested in photography for over 10 years and been a professional photographer for over 5 years. His photography has won many awards, including 1st and 3rd place from the Monroe Arts Council and 1st place for the Monroe Convention and Tourism Bureau Ice Festival competition.
His work can be seen at the Blue Cottage Gallery at Put-in-Bay and the Desdemona Gallery in Port Clinton. It is also on display at the State of Michigan Welcome Centers on I-75 and US-23 in Monroe County.
Dave enjoys capturing moments of history through observing reenactments. His historic photography can be found in the Washington D.C. and Dearborn offices of Congressman John Dingell. His photography can also be seen at the newest National Park: The River Raisin Battlefield Park in Monroe, Michigan and is also included in the brochure for National Parks in the region.
Together Dave with Sue they continue to take classes in Photography, Photo Editing, and other aspects of photography to be well versed in all aspects of the profession and industry.
As avid racing sailors, they have always strived to be the best in their sailing and other personal pursuits. They are both individually and as a team very competitive and always aim for perfection.
For several years Dave with Sue have taken photos of boats under sail, including the Monroe Solo Challenge – those sailors brave enough to sail solo on Lake Erie. These photos are highly regarded by skippers from all over the United States. |
